Let’s be honest: the word approved gets tossed around way too easily.
“Approved by influencers.”
“Approved by a dude on Reddit.”
“Approved by our own marketing team.”
But at Nudge, when we say someone is Nudge‑Approved, we mean we’ve run them through an actual intake checklist that’s tighter than your hamstrings after skipping recovery week.
So what makes a business really earn the Nudge stamp?
The Nudge Vetting Checklist
- Ownership that’s real and reachable.
If something goes sideways, you should be able to reach someone who owns it — not a help desk in a different time zone. We make sure owners are on the ground and hands-on.
- Not backed by private equity or VC.
Why? Because local control means real accountability. Nudge is here for small-batch wellness — not scaled-out soul loss.
- A physical or proven community presence.
If they don’t have a consistent local spot — like a studio or reliable pop-up — we fl ag it. If they only exist online? Hard pass.
- Services that align with real wellness.
We don’t approve businesses selling miracle pills, detox lies, or supplements with sketchy sourcing. If it’s not transparent, it’s not Nudge.
- Certifi cations (especially for mobile or home-based services).
You can be mobile and still professional. But if you’re working out of your house? We better see some receipts.
- Mental health, dental, or medical?
Those always go through manual review — because when you’re dealing with complex care, we take it seriously.
The Outcome Logic
We don’t swipe right on everyone. Here’s how decisions go down:
- Approved: Everything checks out.
- Flagged for Review: Some concerns, but not a dealbreaker — we dig deeper.
- Rejected: Hard no. Usually because something didn’t meet our basic trust standards.
So when you see that “Nudge-Approved” badge, know this: it’s been earned. Not bought. Not faked.
Not curated into existence.
It’s real vetting, from a real team, for real people who want to feel safe in their bodies again.
